The Application Process

Follow these 10 simple steps and you will soon be joining us at ICRGU in Aberdeen, UK.

Step 1: Complete the ICRGU Application Form using Studylink

Get ready to study at ICRGU!

You can review our full course list for international students via the study webpage. When you submit your application, make sure that you, or your representative, upload all relevant academic qualifications and English test results. (Certified translations must accompany documents that are not in English).

Step 2: Receive Your Offer of Admission

Your inbox is calling…

Once we have processed your application, you will receive an offer of admission from us by email. If you have any questions, you can contact  our friendly admissions team: admissions@ic.rgu.ac.uk

Step 3: Meet Your Conditions

Do you have conditions to meet on your offer?

You may be asked to provide an accepted English language qualification. Or perhaps you need to pass a Navitas interview before you can reach the next stage. Please review the instructions carefully. You will not receive an Unconditional Offer until you have successfully met all of the conditions.

Step 4: Accept Your Offer

It’s time to accept your offer. Simply complete and return your Acceptance Form via Studylink.

Step 5: Pay Your Deposit

You can make a payment via bank transfer, international bank draft, or online via the button below.

Step 6: Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS)

CAS stands for ‘Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies.’ It is an electronic record that the College provides for the UK Home Office.

After receiving your completed Acceptance Form and full deposit payment, we will provide you with your CAS. This will include a CAS reference number, which is required for your student visa application.

You must apply for your visa within 6 months of receiving your CAS.

Step 7: Arrange Student Accommodation in Aberdeen

Finding your new home is an exciting part of the process. There will be high demand for the most popular options, so book your accommodation ASAP and have your tenancy agreement when you arrive on campus.

Please note: ICRGU cannot book accommodation on your behalf.

Step 8: Apply for Your Visa

To avoid potential delays, it’s important that you apply for your visa as soon as you have received your CAS. Full details on the visa application process can be found on the UK Government website.

You must notify ICRGU via student.services@ic.rgu.ac.uk once the outcome of your application is confirmed.

Step 9: Arrive in the UK

ICRGU can help arrange transfer from the airport to your accommodation.

We will also provide a full campus tour before enrolment! You must attend College in person and on time for the course start date. The relevant details will be listed in your Unconditional Offer.

Step 10: Start the First Stage of Your Studies!
